Collected through a levy, the HRD Corp fund provides training and up-skilling in industries deemed critical to Malaysia now and in the future so that they can keep up in a rapidly changing business environment. This encourages employers to retrain and upgrade their employees’ skills in line with their unique business requirements.
Is HRDF compulsory in Malaysia?
Employers with more than 10 Malaysian employees, employer has to register for HRDF with a 1% levy of the monthly wages (includes fixed allowance and basic salary) for each Malaysian employee.
